This Week In Writing, we prepare for NaNoWriMo with a special invitation, but first, we talk about She-Hulk!
She-Hulk is the latest Marvel television show to land on Disney+. It features Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk, aka Bruce Banner’s cousin, aka Attorney at Law. The show does something very unique and reminds us that entertainment is for fun — it’s not something to be endlessly dissected and get upset over.
As writers, our work won’t always land with everyone — that’s ok! I loved She-Hulk for the same reasons some people probably disliked it. But I applaud the writers for exploring a theme they likely knew would upset a large swath of “fans.”
